I bet you thought I forgot about Weigh-In Wednesday.
I wish I could say I had forgotten about it because that would be less embarrassing than saying I just stopped trying.
Go ahead shout “boo.” I know that a studio audience would if my weight loss journey was a reality show.
Thank God it isn’t!
That’s probably the only thing that would be more humiliating than starting an unsuccessful 21 episode season of dieting in real life and blogging all about it.
My last published weigh in wasn’t awesome, but it was better than today’s.
Total Weight Loss: 5 pounds
So there you have it….
I’m calling this post the season finale because I’m hanging up my diet hat for the time being. Well, for the next 6 months anyway…
because I’m pregnant with another little Gould :)
We’re super excited to welcome our next wee one to the family and he/she is due to arrive mid-January 2013.
That being said, I’m not going to make the same “mistakes” I did during my pregnancy with Grace. This time around there will be no eating for two and no eating round the clock to stave off nausea.
It shouldn’t be too hard to keep the L-Bs off this time because so far I’m feeling great. No heartburn. No grouchiness. No exhaustion. No nausea.
Can I get an amen?!
So, while I’m not on a diet, I’m certainly trying to exercise daily and eat good, whole foods. I want this bambino to have a healthy mama.
Thanks to everyone who cheered me along during this season. It was really encouraging to read your comments and know that I had support :)
I have every intention of converting my extra fluff into baby weight and not packing on extra pounds during this pregnancy. I also plan to start a new season of this thrilling adventure come February.
But for now?
I’m gonna bake this bun in my oven and stay healthy in the process.
