Hi, I’m Rebecca. Thanks for visiting my blog :) Perhaps you want to know a little more about me in order to decide whether to stick around or move on. I think the “About Me” page of a blog can make up your mind in about 3 minutes.
Now I’m feeling a lot of pressure to be interesting. And relevant. And funny. And thought-provoking. And stylish.
Oh dear…
Ok, here’s the skinny: I’m a 38 year old Navy wife, mother to 3 wonderful children (Grace, Avery, and Drew), blogger, YouTuber, Jesus Lover, and Foodie.
I married my high-school sweetheart nearly 16 years ago. He’s a kind-hearted, all American, squeaky-clean smarty pants. He’s currently a flight surgeon in the Navy and we recently moved from Maryland to Florida to Maryland which will be our 3rd move in 2 years! Fasten your seat belts and keep your hands in the car at all times. It’s going to be a wild ride!
After Drew was born I did my first Whole30. Whole30 totally changed the way I eat, and I continue to follow the plan most of the time while also giving myself lots of grace because I can tend to get obsessed with eating perfectly. Such a silly thing when people around the world are hungry (this post drastically changed my perspective).
My love for food has propelled me into quite a bit of recipe blogging. I love to prepare and eat healthy meals and think it’s important to make wise food choices. You can check out my clean recipe ideas on the eat.clean.quick. tab and the Whole30 tab as well as the most popular posts on the right side bar) but I’m not all nutso about it because I know that God loves me and thinks I’m beautiful, and since my 29th birthday, I’ve committed to agreeing with Him :)
I adore books, coffee and outdoor festivals. I’m addicted to striped clothing and pearl earrings. I love Jesus and strive to become more like Him everyday. I procrastinate like it’s an Olympic sport. I’m a voracious reader and adore the smell of old books. I make really good chocolate chip cookies and will throw down with anyone who thinks their cookies stand a chance. For reals.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you decide to stay :)
