So, how did I do last week? Pretty darn good!
I finally feel like this whole weight loss effort is becoming more of a habit and a lifestyle and less of a huge inconvenience.
Knowing that I have to log every single thing that I eat has really made me aware of the mindless eating I used to fall prey to.
Just a little bite here and there seems like nothing. I didn’t even consider those little nibbles when trying to guess my calorie intake for the day.
Newsflash! Those little bites can really add up!
I wasn’t generally nibbling on carrots and celery. It was good stuff like a couple bites of pasta leftovers from the fridge or a handful of crackers or a few pieces of candy. That kind of yummy stuff can add up to what a meal should be, so boy am I more aware of it now!
I’m still not working out regularly other than taking family walks or bike rides here and there. I know I need to get to the gym and start logging time pushing myself. Not so much to get rockin’ biceps or six pack abs, but to show my heart that I mean business and I’m willing to fight my blood pressure reading with blood, sweat and tears.
Today’s Weigh-In: down 2 pounds
Total Weight Loss: 9 pounds
Overall, I’m pretty happy with my results. I have some weak moments here and there, but ultimately I have a strong desire to keep pressing forward
