In today’s day and age, good Fathers are hard to come by.
There are scores of stories in the news, online, in movies, books and TV about crappy dads. So many fathers are workaholics who are not present for their children. Others are too lazy to provide leaving the burden up to mom. Others still are violent and abusive. And dads on TV are usually idiots.
It’s devastating that so many men (particularly dads) have dropped the ball. God created them all in HIS image to bring LIFE to those around them. They have so much to offer, yet so often fall very short of who they could be.
Even though the world is riddled with broken, hurting men, there are some really wonderful ones out there too.
I am blessed to have one of them.
God chose to bless little old me with one of the finest men out there. He is more than I could have ever dreamed up and after 8 years of marriage I feel like I’ve only started to realize just how amazing he truly is.
Thank you Andy for being a wonderful husband who encourages, challenges, esteems, treasures and cares for me. You make me want to be a better woman just so that I can try to be half as good to you as you are to me.
Thank you Andy for being the BEST father I know. Hands down.

You love our little boo bear more than I thought possible. It warms my heart to watch you delight in her. When you walk into the room and she sees you and starts smiling and flailing around, it’s apparent that she knows just how special you are.

I love that you enjoy spending time with her. You don’t watch the clock waiting for me to come home to relieve you, but instead you play fun games with her, put together funky new outfits for her, take her out on errands and carry her around like she’s royalty.

You cuddle her so tenderly when you give her a bottle and your patience abounds when you’re feeding her “real food” and she smears it all over and flings it onto the floor signaling that “she’s full.”
You embrace her non-cuddly, adventurous spirit and encourage her to be just who she is.
I love that your phone is full of about a hundred pictures of Grace doing everything from eating beans to crying while stuck in a basket.
She is so blessed to have an earthly father who is kind and generous to his family. She and I will be forever grateful that God chose the best man to be our man.
I love you Andy. Happy Father’s Day :)

I cannot agree with you more about Andy. He is a treasure which far surpasses anything!!! I love and thank God for you all…
