This weekend Andy and I went to a free Detroit Symphony Orchestra concert at Metro Beach. It was a lovely warm, breezy evening and definitely the perfect setting for the event. We packed a picnic and a bottle of wine and found the perfect spot to lay our blanket.
We had about an hour or so to eat and rest before the music began and we slowly relaxed and cheered up after a very stressful day. We feasted on a smorgasbord of middle eastern foods: hummus, tabouli, baba gounoush, stuffed grape leaves, cheese, pita and kabobs. Everything was delicious!
My boss bought me a lovely bottle of red wine for Administrative Professionals day and I had been waiting for the right moment to enjoy it — since for me a “nice” bottle of wine is anything that costs more than $9…and this certainly did!
The weather, food, music, wine and atmosphere were perfect. I’d highly recommend anyone check out one of the free concerts next summer. The event is sponsored by Target and is probably also advertised on the DSO website.

Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I¡¯m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I¡¯m thinking about setting up my own but I¡¯m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
