So I’ve been pretty delinquent with the blogging lately. What can I say…I’ve been busy with work, framing, blah, blah, blah…you know the rest if you’ve ever read my blog!
So here are the updates in chronological order:
I had an incredible 28th birthday!! My sister came into town to visit and we did the usual…shopping, eating, laying around, swimming, and goin’ out on the town! I woke up on my birthday and the weather could not have been more yucky. It was raining and gray and miserable, but I wasn’t going to let it spoil my day! The night before we went to a Tigers game with Ellen’s friend Suzie and her friend Maria. The weather was awesome! We sat in row 14 right near home base and I got to watch my Tiger (Pudge Rodriguez) in action (this is before the Tigers traded him to New York and caused me to fall into the depths of despair). At least I have a good reason to wear my Yankees hat now!

Our 5th Anniversary was a nice, low-key day. We woke up late after being out SUPER late the night before seeing the new Batman movie for a second time! We spent the first part of the day being super lazy watching TV and snuggling (that’s nuggle nation to you, Marie). Then Andy dropped me off to the salon to get the manicure and pedicure that I ran out of time for on my birthday. He ran a few errands and then came back to get me. After that we headed home and got ready for dinner. Andy thought fondue would be fun, so we went to The Melting Pot fondue restaurant in Troy. We had a delicious dinner of Wisconsin Cheddar fondue with bread cubes, veggies and Granny Smith apples for dipping. Then we each had a salad and our main course was white pepper shrimp, filet mignon, sesame marinated sirloin, chicken breast, salmon, red skin potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, and summer squash cooked by us at our table in a delicious Coq au vin broth. We sipped on Chianti and enjoyed talking about all that we have done over the past 5 years. After dinner we went to Cold Stone Creamery and managed to cram in our favorite creation…Peanut Butter Perfection! The rest of the night was great too, but I’m going to spare you the details! ;)

Well that was certainly a Blog worth waiting for! Thanks for all the fun pix, captions and info. You’re a beautiful, fun and special young woman Rebecca and I love you so much. Your Mom and I had almost as much fun when we were together last week. Hope to see you over Labor Day! Keep rockin’. . .Love, Aunt Becky

Well there you go girl… Now that is a “BLOG!” I love seeing all the pictures. I am so blessed that you were with old friends, new friends, and family, it warmed my heart.
Keep um coming…
Love you,
Mom :)
Awesome and hilarious post. Can I point out a few captions that are MIA on your pics? One pic of me should be labeled “The Big Salad” that took me 2 hours to eat. All the Seinfeld fans know what I’m talking about. And, one should be “Dumb as Bricks” and another should be Marie’s ET fingers…We’ll see if you know what I’m talking about. P.s. The pic of MIke and the shot girl is funny. There’s also a nice one of Dave in the background with his eyes closed. Can you email me those pictures somehow? ttys, MTV
