Right now I’m sitting in the lobby at a Holiday Inn Express in Brownsburg, Indiana. I’m here for work this week which is both cool and kinda sucky. It’s neat to get a change of scenery, learn more about the industry I’m in, eat some good dinners on someone else’s dime, sleep in a king sized bed, people watch at the airport, get to know my brother-in-law better, be challenged by doing accounting stuff that i’ve never done before, and just change up my normal, boring, everyday routine.
The sucky part is that I’m away from Andy, I had half of my toiletries confiscated at the airport so I’m washing my face with soap (agh!), battling all the tangles in my conditioner-less hair and going without perfume for the first time maybe EVER. I was supposed to get coffee with a friend this week and meet with my small group. I’m not able to go to my gym and have to find time before 7:30am or after 10:30pm to use the crappy fitness center (read broken treadmill, elliptical and rowing machine in a room of mirrors). The water here is gross, apparently the eggs and juice in the continental breakfast have mysterious side effects and although the weather is fabulous, I’m inside a dingy conference room surrounded by files piled to ear height all day.
I do have wireless internet in the lobby though, so I can at least keep up with my email, myspace, facebook and blog after-hours.
That’s all for now…I need to get to bed so that I can survive tomorrow!

What you said made a lot of sense. But, think about this, what if you added a little content? I mean, I dont want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added something to maybe get peoples attention? Just like a video or a picture or two to get people excited about what youve got to say. In my opinion, it would make your blog come to life a little bit.
One week down, one to go! :)

I know you are only going to be gone until the end of the week, and I don’t see you all that much, but I feel your loss not being a phone call away. I am at school before 7:30 a.m. and in bed before 10:30 p.m. You are missed my dear sweet daughter!!!

This is my “go to” verse Rebecca when I find myself in similar situations. I’m wondering how far you are from our Andy, who is in Bloomington, IN?
Well, I think of you and Andy so often. I’m proud of you for always stretching yourself and never giving up. You are definitely running the good race.
I love you sweetie. Aunt Becky
