They are $299 each though!!! UGH!!!! I have been looking for the perfect thing to put above my couch and of course when I finally find it, I can’t get it!! Even if I could somehow scrounge up the money, I couldn’t justify spending it on pictures! Geez…

Well, you ARE into framing, and with all the painting you’ve been doing… how about making your own personal Gould artwork to hang?!? :)

That’s my girl, always liking the most expensive things!!! Sometimes I wonder what our house would look like if everything was free…

Okay, I think they are nice, but maybe it is the mate and frame colors I am not wild about. I honestly think it is a blessing in disguise that they are so expensive. I know you will come up with something better and a lot cheaper too. Maybe I don’t think the blue would coordinate with your walls, or maybe it is that they are not my taste. Just commenting because I can…
Love, Mom :)

http://www.ballarddesigns.com/ they describe them like this:
Chariklia Zarris began as a textile designer and creates art as richly colored and textured as the fabrics she designs. Each limited edition image is printed on fine art paper, then signed and numbered from 1-950 by the artist. Framed in black wood with gold inset, single cream mat and glass front.
it’s an awesome website, but everything is very pricey. i’ve been cursed with expensive taste! it doesn’t matter where i am…i will always like the most expensive thing! it’s so weird.

$299 each is ridiculous. I really like the pictures but that is an outrageous price. Where did you find them? -mtv
