Last night we got back from an awesome trip to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. We left early Saturday morning when our friends Marie and Dave picked us up in a sweet Land Rover! Dave works for Car and Driver Magazine and gets to use all different types of cars and the gas cost is taken care of by the company. It was great to take such a long car trip in a fabulous car with free gas! We arrived at our cabin by 5pm on Saturday and settled in. The place was gorgeous! We especially appreciated the huge beds, awesome porches overlooking the mountains and the hot tub! We stuffed ourselves silly all weekend by feasting on fondue, lil smokies sausages (haha), spinach artichoke dip, layered taco dip, cookies, brownies, pancakes and pasta! We took naps, played games, laughed and enjoyed all that the cabin had to offer. It was fantastic!
