So, it’s been over a week since Andy and I took my brother to the auto show. I keep meaning to post about the experience, but I save it for work and then realize all the photos are on my home computer. Then we were so excited about our new niece that I pushed this post onto the proverbial back burner. So, here it is!
We had a great time! John Paul was thrilled to see all of the fancy cars he usually just admires on the road from a distance. He wasn’t able to sit inside most of his favorites, but it was cool to check them out face to face anyway. He did get to sit in a hummer and he got to pose in front of his new love…the Dodge Challenger (still only a concept…much to his dismay!).
I got to sit in a Jaguar and drool over a few Bentleys. I’ve always thought Saab’s were kinda cool, but after sitting in a cute blue convertable, I’m sold!
Andy loves the Aston Martin Vanquish and was unfortunately not able to get a really good look because of the dumb foggy glass cage it was in! Other than that he seemed pretty content following his “high choleric” pals around the packed arena.
We capped off the evening with a visit to Nikki’s for some killer pizza and saganaki! OPA!

Oh my gosh. John Paul is actually grown up and not the little boy I remember playing with Riley.
