Last night I was up late making two batches of my famous chocolate chip cookies to bring to my sister’s graduation open house on Sunday. They started out being my mom’s famous chocolate chip cookies, but she moved to Onsted and got a gas stove that robbed her of the title. (For those of you who don’t know…gas stoves are crappy for baking)
After making all the yummy cookies, I began chopping veggies for the chicken kabobs that I needed to assemble for marination. 10 kabobs and 2 sticky hands later, I was sealing the ziplock bags filled with kabobs and three-chesse dressing for a 24 hour party in the fridge. I can’t wait to slap those babies onto the grill tonight…yum! Emil and Meghan are coming over for dinner and games tonight…hopefully they are kabob fans like we are. (I’ve already used the word “kabob” 5 times!)
Anyway…I’m heading out to good ‘ol Onsted on Saturday morning to help my mom with the Open House preparations. I’m sure she’ll have it totally under control, but I’ll at least be there for moral support.
More details to follow upcoming Open House…
