It’s a trend alright…I am not a small talk kind of guy, often to a fault. I care that you are doing this or that, but I don’t care as much about the event itself as I do about what you are learning about your self, God, life or others.
I like a challenge I guess…when I see a story that has already been told in its entirety I have nothing to chew on I guess. :) I’ll try to post on the other ones too I suppose, “Nice picture,” or “Oh, that’s cool.” lol
i don’t know if it’s an actual “trend” yet, but it seems as though i can guarantee a comment from diogenes if i post a clever thought or quote. maybe i’ll add those to my normal repertoire of the daily happenings in my life.
Nice quote 25, it makes me think of the verse, “a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest; and scarcity will come upon you like a bandit”…except that your quote highlights the difference between getting by and excelling, and the proverb is between getting by and being destitute.
Same concept, work skillfully with your hands…extended application. I like it!
