Well, the day has come that we have decided to start thinking about buying a house again. Before we got married we were in the hunt and we actually found a house that we both really loved. Unfortunately, Andy lost his job and we were forced to begin apartment hunting. (looking at 3 bedroom homes makes looking at one bedroom apartments very depressing)
We are back on track now that Andy has a decent job, so I’ve been looking around our area for homes that are inexpensive yet charming. I’ve accumulated printouts for about 7 different houses and they all seem pretty appealing on paper. Walking through them really gives a better perspective. We learned that last time around. (Be sure to ask me about the biker/easter bunny house that sounded “great on paper.”)
My uncle is a well established realtor, so I’ll probably be contacting him in the near future to get the ball rolling. I’m excited, but nervous at the same time!
