I have been sick again for the last 2 days. This time it wasn’t my stomach that was bothering me, but rather my throat, chest and nose. I think I caught this bug from my little brother over the weekend. It started as a sore throat then morphed into a sore and congested chest, then into a painful cough and now finally it has become an incessantly runny nose.
Now that that’s out of the way…
I pretty much just slept and watched TV from Monday morning till last night. I no longer believe it’s only a waste of time. I now actually think it sucks the intelligence and uniqueness (is that even a word?) from the minds of all who fall prey to it’s seductive spell. I picked up a book and started reading it before bed last night. It’s called the Parables of Leadership. So far I’m really enjoying it.
Last Thursday my friend Sara brought The House of Sand and Fog over to watch after dinner. Very slow movie, yet interesting. Sad ending. We had a nice time together…I was disappointed that I didn’t record the Apprentice though.
My cell phone eventually rang.
My trip to New York City is less than 2 days away and my sweet sweet husband matched my spending money. That doubled my shopping potential! Whoo Hoo!
I still think my blog is boring….I need to start thinking more creatively again. I should also read Thinking For a Change by John Maxwell.
