Saturday night after an incredible seminar in Saginaw, Andy and I stopped at a gas station to get some gum. I’m really into sugarless bubblegum right now. Carefree Koolerz are my absolute favorite. The pina colada flavor is to die for. Anyway, we were at the counter ready to pay for my gum and Andy’s Mountain Dew when I looked down and saw a package of Razzles! Andy and I have recently fallen in love with the movie 13 Going On 30. In the movie, Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo are childhood pals who enjoy awesome 80’s music and Razzles…”first it’s a candy, then it’s a gum!” We figured they might be a ficticious candy, but really hoped they weren’t. So, when we saw them we had to buy them. The first two packs in the box were disgustingly dusty and dirty, but the last one was in good shape.
We ate the whole package in the car on the way home. They had a cool powdery candy texture at first and then turned into a really decent bubble gum. The flavors were yummy too. I think we’ll keep our eyes out for them at gas stations from now on and maybe we’ll even get a case online!

That is a fun movie, and what a GREAT find! I didn’t know Razzles were a real candy either
