Busy as a Bee
Many of you know that I frequently complain about my job being slow and boring. This week has been nothing but busyness! I got back to work on Monday and I thought I might be able to ease into the daily grind, but instead I was forced to hit the ground running. It was like being dropped feet first onto a treadmill set at the highest speed! In some ways I think it was good for me to have to jump right in so that laziness would not be allowed settle in, but I’ve hardly been able to catch my breath since Monday. I do have to say that the week going by very quickly which is nice.
I’m hoping that tomorow will be a little slower so that I can share some more details about my wonderful South Carolina trip!
New Look
I’m back from my wonderful beach vacation! I have so many things to write about, but work has been pretty busy today so I’ll have to post something more substantial tomorrow.
I hope my mom isn’t too “thrown off” by the new look of my blog. This one was a little brighter and had a stronger “Barbie Vibe” so I decided to switch. I don’t know when “Barbie Vibes” became part of my decision making processes, but apparently they did.
For today I’ll just say that my trip was wonderful, although not long enough. Marie’s wedding was beautiful, fun, nostalgic and sentimental….all my favorite things!
