Today is my sweet Grace’s 2nd birthday. It’s hard to believe that this lively and delightful little girl was once my teeny tiny newborn baby.
They go from this…

To this…
In two years!
It’s incredible. I will never forget the first time Grace reached for one of the toys on her activity mat. I was SO EXCITED. I mean she intentionally reached for something. It was big news…trust me.
Now she’s running and climbing and talking up a storm. Hearing her put words together or seeing her remember random things days later always thrills me.
Each phase has it’s challenges, but the joys totally outweigh them all. I’m super excited to see all of the changes from two to three :)
We had a little family birthday party on Sunday afternoon. Grace LOVES letters so I went with a simple ABC theme.
Last year’s big ladybug birthday party was fun to pull together, but I really appreciated the smaller scale of this year’s alphabet party.

Here’s a little video snippet of Grace eating her cupcake. My personal favorite part? A big ol’ shot of my butt toward the end. You’re welcome.
