Hi, I’m Rebecca. Thanks for visiting my blog :) Perhaps you want to know a little more about me in order to decide whether to stick around or move on. I think the “About Me” page of a blog can make up your mind in about 3 minutes.
Now I’m feeling a lot of pressure to be interesting. And relevant. And funny. And thought-provoking. And stylish.
Oh dear…
Ok, here’s the skinny: I’m a 40 something old Navy wife, mother to 3 wonderful children (Grace, Avery, and Drew), Jesus Lover, and Foodie.
I married my high-school sweetheart. He’s a kind-hearted, all American, squeaky-clean smarty pants. He’s currently a medical resident in the Navy and we moved 4 times in under 5 years before settling outside of DC! Fasten your seat belts and keep your hands in the car at all times. It’s going to be a wild ride!
After Drew was born I did my first Whole30. Whole30 totally changed the way I eat, and I continue to enjoy eating wholesome foods. My love for food has propelled me into quite a bit of recipe blogging. I love to prepare and eat healthy meals and think it’s important to make wise food choices. You can check out my clean recipe ideas on the eat.clean.quick. tab and the Whole30 tab as well as the most popular posts on the right side bar) but I’m not all nutso about it because I know that God loves me and thinks I’m beautiful, and since my 29th birthday, I’ve committed to agreeing with Him :)
I adore books, coffee and outdoor festivals. I wear an apron to cook and pearl earrings every day. I love Jesus and am waking up to God’s transforming love more everyday. I’m a recovering procrastinator. I’m a voracious reader and adore the smell of old books. I make really good chocolate chip cookies and will happily bring them to any gathering I’m invited to!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you decide to stay :)
