The good news is that my blood pressure is down to an acceptable range and I’ve been given the all-clear to start working out again. Yay!
Did I mention that I cried at my last appointment when the doc said I had to stop the high impact aerobics?
Yeah, I did.
I guess I hadn’t realized how much the workouts meant to me, mentally, physically and emotionally until I was told they were off-limits.
He also told me I should stop eating cheese. It sounded something like, “And also, Rebecca, no more happiness!”
Watch this if you didn’t get that last part…
Anywho, I’ve made some good changes, gotten back to working out and have been eating more veggies than ever before.
You’d think the scale would be loving all of that don’t you?
Today’s weigh in didn’t have me floating on Cloud 9, that’s for sure.
Today’s Weigh-In: .5 pounds down
Total Weight Loss: 12.5 pounds
I’m only hanging on by a thread, folks. This slow losing is pure torture! I’m in it to win it, but I’d like to get there before I’m 75!
It’s been about a week of my new habits (my first appointment was just before Thanksgiving and I wasn’t about to be on a diet that day. Or the next. Ok, that whole weekend.)
Next week’s gonna be good. I feel it!
