I’m not gonna lie. This whole weight loss thing has been a struggle.
With a capital “S”.
But I’m sticking to it. Even if I take a 4 day weekend for Labor Day and eat like it’s my job.
When I fall down, I get back up and keep going. Continually logging calories, and planning ahead.
It’s not fun, but I think part of it is actually rewarding. I have a record of every single thing I’ve eaten for the past 5 weeks. Not that it’s cool to look back on days that I went a little crazy and see a bright red negative number on the log, but it’s nice to see that green positive number on the days that I didn’t eat every calorie I was given.
There are very few days like that. I usually eat every last calorie, and I’m ok with that.
So, how did I do last week? Not perfect, but I’ll take it.
Today’s Weigh-In: down 2 pounds
Total Weight Loss: 7 pounds
This is going to take time. It’s not going to happen overnight or overmonth even. I need to remember that and keep pushing ahead.
Tomorrow night I’m going to a fun cocktail party in a cute teal satin number I picked up. It’s not the size I’d like it to be, but I’m gonna rock it anyway.
